Proper Coffee began with a simple conviction: the way you brew matters as much as what you brew.
Founded in Michigan, we design and manufacture precision coffee brewing equipment entirely in-house — from CNC machining the aluminum frames and brew tips, to flame-polishing every borosilicate glass tube by hand.
Our patented tube design creates an extended extraction path that no conventional dripper can match. The result is a cup of extraordinary clarity and depth — every time.
We don’t chase trends. We don’t cut corners. We build tools that last generations, for people who believe their morning ritual is worth doing properly.
Manufacturing
Every aluminum component is CNC-machined from solid billet stock. Brew tips are reamed to exact dimensional tolerances for precise flow control.
Borosilicate glass tubes are cut from 5-foot lengths of premium stock, then flame-polished by hand to create smooth, safe edges.
Each brewer is assembled, tested, and inspected before leaving our workshop. We stand behind every piece with a 3-year warranty.
