Cold Drip

The Art of Patience

Great cold brew can’t be rushed. Our Cold Drip system extracts flavor one drop at a time over 12 hours, producing a concentrate so smooth it rivals aged spirits.

The Process

Prepare

Fill the top vessel with ice-cold water. Use the finest grind you're comfortable with — finer grinds extract more flavor, but too fine will clog the system. We recommend slightly finer than drip.

Set the Drip Rate

Adjust the drip valve to approximately 35 drops per minute. This is the sweet spot where extraction is maximized without over-saturating the coffee bed. Count the drops against a clock to calibrate.

The Stone Filter

Our proprietary stone filter sits atop the coffee bed, trapping maximum moisture against the greatest possible surface area. This is the engineering secret behind the syrupy, complex concentrate our system produces.

Wait

This is where patience becomes an ingredient. Over the next 12 hours, watch as each drop passes through your grounds, slowly filling the lower vessel with dark, aromatic concentrate. It's as much meditation as it is brewing.

Serve

The finished concentrate can be served over ice, diluted with water, or mixed into cocktails. Refrigerate for up to two weeks — though the first week delivers peak flavor. Each 12-hour cycle produces 1000ml, enough for approximately 7 five-ounce servings.
